Liverpool Pride 2011

Liverpool Pride 2011, a set on Flickr.
Had a great day out at Liverpool Pride today, I was actually quite..err..proud to be there. That's not me trying to be clever with words.  Around half way round the march, there was a small group of religious people who reckon that that their god will repay gay people with death. Honestly, that's what their banner said. I couldn't help wandering up to one of them, and that's when the words came out quite spontaneously - that I was here with my daughter and I couldn't be more proud. So that was the meaning of the word, and of the day, made plain for me...
